NMEA Baudrate Converter pro is a converter that allows devices with NMEA protocol, which is generally used in marine, GPS and communication systems, to work with different baudrate values.
NMEA baudrate converter pro is used to send and receive NMEA data with different baud rates. Input and output speed can be adjusted according to DIP switches. The embedded software can be updated according to the specially specified baud rate.
Another feature of this converter is that it has a second NMEA data input. Data received from the second input can be combined with the first input and transferred to the output. It combines data from two independent NMEA inputs at different speeds and sends the data to the output at the set speed.
It provides data communication between GPS, ECDIS, AIS, radar, autopilot, gyrocompass, speedlog, and fish finder systems.
In order for the DIP Switch settings to be effective, the device must be disconnected from the power and given again. Data loss may occur when converting from a higher value of baud rate to a lower due to the bottleneck effect.
NMEA baudrate converter pro can be powered within the range of 9~32 VDC. The nominal voltage of 24 VDC is advised for powering the device in normal operation. Power input port has a protection for incorrect polarity connection of the supplying voltage.
